Systematics
Rophites anatolicus is included (Michener, 2000, 2007) in the subgenus Rhophitoides (as part of the genus Rophites ) [3] . However, some authors (Pesenko, Astafurova, 2006; Astafurova, 2014) consider the subgenus Rhophitoides to be an independent genus-level taxon separate from Rophites and name the species as Rhophitoides anatolicus [1] .
