Born November 20, 1924
He graduated from Leningrad State University (1948).
From 1949 to 1989 he worked at the Hydrotechnical Laboratory, the Institute of Nuclear Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and the JINR Laboratory of Nuclear Problems: researcher, head of sector, senior researcher.
Candidate (1956), doctor (1968) of physical and mathematical sciences.
A specialist in the study of physics of the nucleus and elementary particles, neutron-proton scattering, the creation of new methods of a physical experiment.
Author of experimental studies of nucleon-nucleon and nucleon-deuteron interactions, studies of the properties of multi-gap projection spark chambers. He proposed new methods for measuring the polarization of nuclear particle beams.
The 1953 Stalin Prize - for experimental studies of elementary interactions of nucleons with nucleons and k-mesons, performed on the M installation of the Hydrotechnical Laboratory.
