FSBEI HE South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University [1] - a higher educational institution, is one of the oldest universities in the Chelyabinsk region, was founded in 1934 as a pedagogical institute [2] .

In 1995, the institute received university status and was renamed the Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University. All educational activities of the university are aimed at implementing the State standard of vocational education, improving the quality of professional training of teachers, the intensification of the educational process, the search for new forms of education, the creative development of the personality of future teachers. In 2009, the Quality Management System of CSPU passed the international assessment and registration of an authorized NQA organization for compliance with the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 standard, as well as CSPU was entered in the “Reliable reputation” register. In 2013, a college was opened at the university, which began to train personnel with secondary vocational education. In 2016, the university received a new name South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University. Today, the university implements four levels of vocational education: secondary vocational education , higher vocational - bachelor's degree , higher vocational - magistracy and higher vocational - training of highly qualified personnel ( graduate school ).

In the fall of 2015, the question was raised about the associations of the Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University with the Chelyabinsk State University with the creation of the Eurasian State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University [3] [4] [5] [6] .
