Biography
She was born in 1878 (according to another version - in 1865) in the village of Abdalgulably of the Shushinsky district of the Elizavetpol province (now a village in the Agdam region of Azerbaijan / Vazgenashen village of the Martuni region of the unrecognized NKR).
She began her career in 1873. Since 1930, a collective farmer, since 1940, a link collective farm “Shark” of the Barda district. The first high yields on the collective farm were received by Ibragimova, in 1946 she received a cotton crop of 70 centners per hectare, and in 1947 she received a cotton crop of 90.13 centers per hectare on an area of 4 hectares. Ibragimova described herself as a responsive and diligent worker. Even when she retired, she did not stop giving advice to young collective farm workers and training them in their experience. She participated in VDNH in 1957, where she received a large gold medal; as a prize, she was awarded the Victory, but she refused a car in favor of a truck to help the collective farmers of cotton farms.
Since 1957, a pensioner of national importance.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 10, 1948, Ibrahimova Zuleikha Kasum kizi was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle medal for receiving high yields of cotton in 1947.
She lived in the village of Barda district, where she died on January 22, 1972.
