Biography
Ivo Yan was fond of football and ice hockey. He spent a significant part of his playing career in the Akroni Jesenice team, having won the title of Yugoslavia champion with her 15 times. For the national team of Yugoslavia spent more than 200 matches, played at 15 world championships and three Olympic Games in 1964, 1968 and 1972 [1] . During his career, he also played for the Eintracht (Frankfurt), Olimpia (Ljubljana), Zinkarna (Tsele) [2] clubs. At the 1968 Olympics, in 6 games, he scored 7 goals and gave 2 assists, at the 1972 Olympics, scored 2 goals.
Since 2007, member of the Slovenian Hockey Hall of Fame. He lives in Jesenica.
