Alexandra Vasilievna Ivanovskaya (nee Pokrovskaya ; 1847-1870) - Russian translator ; the first wife of the professor of KDA N. I. Ivanovsky .

Alexandra Pokrovskaya was born in 1847 in the family of a St. Petersburg priest. She received a good home education and was keenly interested in theological and philosophical issues [1] [2] .
In 1866 [3] she married professor of the Kazan Theological Academy , a connoisseur of the Russian Old Believers Nikolai Ivanovich Ivanovsky [4] . Having moved after her husband to Kazan, she joined the academic circle and took an active part in the translation of the philosophical work of - β God and Nature β (2 hours, Kazan, 1867-1868) [1] .
Alexandra Vasilievna Ivanovskaya died on April 12 [5] 1870 [1] about a year after the birth of her son [6] .
