Criticism
In the spring of 2015, a series of rallies took place in Ulan-Ude , the main purpose of which was to protest against the appointment of Nikolai Moshkin as acting rector. According to several media reports, participants, some of whom were not university employees, tried to use the rallies as a platform for speaking out against the leadership of the region. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] In addition, some leaders of the university’s structural divisions came under fire, some of whose scientific works, according to experts from the Dissernet community , contain incorrect borrowings [9] .
