Smoly, Franz (hockey player)

Franz Smolay ( Serbohorv. Franz Smolej , Sloven . Franc Smolej , born July 18, 1940 in Jesenice) - Yugoslav and Slovenian hockey player, played the position of attacker. He spent a significant part of his career at Acroni Jesenica, becoming the 15-time national champion. He played for the Yugoslavia national team at the Winter Olympics of 1964 in Innsbruck, having scored 5 pucks at the Games (one for Austria , two for Japan and Romania ), and for the Winter Olympics of 1968 in Grenoble, one goal for each Romania and Finland .
