Biography
Nikola Zdragalova was born in the town of Dvur Kralove nad Labem , Hradec Králové Region , Czech Republic . From the age of four she was engaged in ice hockey. Seeing her daughter’s success on the ice, her mother wrote a letter to Peter Novak to take Nicola to her training headquarters. Two years later he invited Zdragalov [3] to the tests. From 2011 to the present, he has been professionally training on the basis of the club “NowiS Team - KRS Svratka”. Petr Novak ( czech Petr Novak ) is responsible for its preparation. In addition to speed skating, Zdragalova professionally engaged in cycling and represented the Czech Republic at the 2014 World Road Cycle Championships [4] . She studied at Adolph Kolping Middle School of Gastronomy ( czech. Střední škola gastronomická Adolpha Kolpinga ) with a degree in waiter [5] .
As of April 2018, Zdragalova’s asset does not contain any medals obtained at international competitions under the auspices of the ISU . She showed her best result at the European Speed Skating Championships in 2018 , which took place in the Russian city of Kolomna . On January 7, at the Speed Skating Center, during the women's team race, Czech speed skaters finished with a score of 3: 19.72 (+20.39). In the final standings, they took the 5th place [6] [7] .
At the 2018 Winter Olympics , Nikola Zdragalova made her debut in the 1000 , 1500 , 3000 m and mass start race . On February 10, 2018 at the Olympic Oval of Gangnam in the women's 3000 m race, she finished 4: 11.36 (12.15). In the final standings Zdragalova took 15th place [8] . On February 12, 2018, she finished the 1500 m race at the Olympic Oval of Gangnyn with a score of 1: 58.03 (+3.68), taking 11th place [9] . On February 14, 2018, at the Olympic Oval of Gangnyn in the women's 1000 m race, she finished with a score of 1: 16.43 (+2.87). In the final standings, Zdragalov took 19th place [10] . On February 24, 2018, at the mass start of the Olympic Oval of Gangnin, she finished with a score of 1 point. In the final standings, Zdragalova took 8th place [11] [12] .
