Neftyanik is a Russian football club from Yaroslavl . It was founded in 1963 at the Novo-Yaroslavl refinery .

The main successes are associated with the name of the head coach and president of the club, Valentin Viktorovich Volkov. [1] . At the Neftyanik home stadium Slavneft, an annual tournament of veteran teams in memory of V.V. Volkov is held annually (he died in 2005). [2]
Until 1993, the “Oilman” mainly played in the championship of the Yaroslavl region , in 1993 - in the zone “Center-B” of the championship of Russia among the teams of physical education. In 1994, he received professional status, so it was the year 1994 that was marked on the club emblem. The best achievement - 8th place in the “West” zone of the Second League in 2000 . During this period, he intensively collaborated with the main Yaroslavl club " Shinnik " in the preparation of the football reserve. [3]
At the end of the 2002 season , he lost his professional status, after which he appears at the championship of the city of Yaroslavl. The degradation of the professional club occurred after the privatization of the Slavneft company, which includes the Novo-Yaroslavl refinery. The new owner - TNK-BP - abandoned the previous social burden of the enterprise. [four]
In 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 he became the winner of the Open Championship of Yaroslavl, which competes with the championship of the Yaroslavl region in terms of the level of participating teams. In 2012 and 2018, the championship of Yaroslavl occupied the second place [5] [6] . Factory teams occupy leading positions in regional tournaments of football veterans, winter futsal tournaments.
The main home stadium and training base - Slavneft (Atlant, Neftestrovets), was built in the early 1960s. In 2012, it was planned to reconstruct this stadium under the regulations of the National Football League, while the main stadium of Yaroslavl “ Shinnik ” is being reconstructed for the 2018 World Cup (in the future, Yaroslavl was excluded from the number of cities hosting this championship). [7] The Yaroslavl stadiums Lokomotiv, Krasny Perekop, Shinnik and the Spartak stadium in Rostov were also used as the home arena. In connection with the reconstruction of the Slavneft stadium in the season of 2018, the GUOR stadium for hockey for several months became the club’s home arena (7 Dyadkovskaya St.). In August 2018, the reconstruction of Slavneft was successfully completed, and Neftyanik returned to his native stadium.
