Biography

She was born on June 15, 1913 in the village of Sharukkar of the Elizavetpol district of the Elizabethpol province (now the village of Dashkesan region of Azerbaijan).

Since 1932, a link, since 1962, a worker of the Nizami wine-growing collective farm in the city of Kirovabad. In 1948, 170.4 centners per hectare of grapes were harvested on an area of ​​3 hectares, the next year Zakharyan collected 179.7 centners of grapes per hectare from the same area.

Since 1968, a pensioner of national importance.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 5, 1949 for receiving high grape yields in 1948, Zakharyan Arfenik Abramovna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."

Actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1951 .
