Annika Falkengren , nee Bolin ( Swede. Annika Falkengren (Bolin) ; born April 12, 1962) - President and Managing Director of the Swedish bank Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) since November 2005 [1] .

Biography
Annika Falkengren was born on April 12, 1962 in Bangkok , Thailand , where her father served as a diplomat [2] .
Received a degree in economics from Stockholm University [3] . After graduating in 1987, she got a job at an SEB [4] . She worked in the Department of Trade and Capital Markets from 1988 to 2000. She was the head of the Department of the corporation and institutions from 2001 to December 2004. Then she held the position of Deputy Managing Director. On January 1, 2006, she was appointed by the Board of Directors to replace Lars Tunell [5] . After Tunell went to work at the World Bank , Falkengren took over as president and managing director of the bank on November 10, 2005 [6] .
Falkengren is also chairman of Scania CV AB and FAM AB, [7] as well as director of the Mentor Foundation and IMD Foundation [8] . Since January 2017, he has been the managing partner of the Lombard Odier Group [9] .
Falkengren was nominated to the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen in 2011 [10] . The media often pay attention to her gender and her attractive appearance, as well as to the fact that she gave birth to a child in 2005, just a few months before her election as the head of the SEB [11] . Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer named her the most influential woman in Sweden in 2005 [12] , and Financial News Online ranked her 68th among the “100 most influential people in European capital markets” [13] . In 2015, Fortune magazine named her the third most influential woman in Europe, the Middle East and Africa [14] . Fortune also placed Falkengren on the seventh line in the list of the most influential women in world business in 2008 ( at the same time recognizing her the second most important business woman in Europe) [15] . In 2010, on the same list, she took eighth position [16] .
