Medal standings at the 1976 Winter Paralympic Games

Below is a list of national Paralympic Committees, shown by the number of gold medals won by their athletes during the I Paralympic Winter Games , held in Swedish Ornskoldsvik from February 21 to February 28, 1976 [1] .

198 athletes (161 men and 37 women) from 16 countries took part in the Games [1] . A total of 141 medals were won [2] in 2 sports ( skiing and skiing ) [1] .
