Biography

Boris Viktorovich grew up in a military family that had nothing to do with art. His father, Viktor Borisovich Rudnev (1920 - 1984), after graduating from the Tula Arms and Technical School, served as a weapons technician at the Oryol Infantry School. There he met Chizhakova Pelageya Ivanovna (1919 - 1994), whom he married in February 1941.

In 1969 he graduated from VGIK (workshop of Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova). Since March 1970, he has been an actor at the Mosfilm film studio and the movie theater studio. In the movie he played mainly the roles of strong courageous heroes. Among the best works: Yashka Vredny (“The First Girl”), Sergey Chekmarev (“We Have No Time to Wait”), Bonner (“The Only Road”), Grinevich (“Long Miles of War”), Silaev (“Profitable Contract”), Nefedov ( “Personal Accounts”), brigade commander Dobrynin (“Project Alpha”). Also, the actor worked a lot on dubbing, voicing foreign and domestic paintings.

In the early 90s, significant changes took place in the theater-studio of the film actor. A new leadership came and put the whole troupe in unbearably harsh conditions. Someone tried to fight this, and someone left, preferring to be away from unpleasant feuds. Among them was Boris Rudnev. He actually went nowhere, left without a livelihood.

Late in the evening of March 14, 1994, Boris Rudnev was returning home and was attacked. The people Boris Viktorovich lived with offered to call an ambulance, but he refused. The next day he was gone. He was buried at the Domodedovo cemetery.
