Biography

Born February 22, 1924 .

The initial years of his life passed in the city of Roshal, Moscow Region , of which he is an honorary citizen. [2]

A participant in the Great Patriotic War , to the fronts of which he left as a student of a technical school in 1942. After graduating from the Gorky Tank School (now the Blagoveshchensk Higher Tank Command School ), he participated in battles on the 2nd Baltic , Karelian and 2nd Belorussian fronts as a platoon commander, then a company. In April 1945 he was seriously wounded, was treated in a hospital. [3] Finished the war with the rank of lieutenant guard.

After being demobilized from the army, in 1946 he entered the Moscow Power Engineering Institute , where he graduated in 1952 with a degree in heat engineering and was left at the Department of Fire Industrial Heat Engineering. In 1955 he defended his thesis, in 1973 - his doctorate.

From 1976 to 1991, Anatoly Klyuchnikov worked at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute as the head of the department of Fire Industrial Thermotechnics (in 1984 it was renamed the Department of High-Energy Technology Energy); [4] From 1966 to 1989, he was simultaneously dean of the faculty of Industrial Heat Power Engineering. [2]

Merit

  • For the great labor contribution and fruitful long-term activity he was awarded in 2004 the MPEI Prize of Honor and Recognition. [5] Professor Emeritus of MPEI. [6]
