Scientific activity

Specialist in the field of pure and applied mathematics.

The author of 110 scientific works, including 9 monographs.

The main scientific results:

  • new methods have been developed for constructing asymptotic solutions of wave-type differential equations, in particular, equations with degeneration at the boundary of the region;
  • Applications of methods of partition theory and analytical number theory to the problems of statistical physics and computer science are studied.
  • Atiyah-Singer type index formulas are obtained for nonlocal elliptic operators whose coefficients contain shift operators;
  • the general principle of localization in the theory of index of elliptic operators is proved, and this principle is applied to study the Aaronov-Bohm effect in graphene.

Conducts teaching at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Physics INBIKST MIPT , member of the editorial board of the journal “Russian Journal of Mathematical Physics”.
