Biography
Born on November 19, 1902 at the Pukhovichi station. He studied at the Igumen gymnasium . In 1919, in connection with the outbreak of the Civil War in the RSFSR, he volunteered for the Red Army, where he fought against foreign interventionists. In 1921 he was demobilized and entered the Minsk Pedagogical Institute . In 1922 he began literary work, and in 1929 he began to write scripts for cinema. In 1936 he was accused of anti-Soviet activity and was repressed, arrested on November 4, 1936 and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out on October 29, 1937 in Minsk. Rehabilitated on December 3, 1957.
