Biography
The son of Pavel Kharitonovich Zuev (1768-1848) [1] , the grandson of Khariton Lukich Zuev . He was born on June 4 ( 16 ), 1816 .
In 1837, among the best students, he was graduated from the Institute of the Corps of Railway Engineers . In 1866 he was promoted to major general and the following year he transferred to the civil service, where in 1877 he was promoted to secret adviser. In 1864-1868 he was the head of the Nikolaev railway .
In 1888, he retired with the rank of full privy councilor .
He died on January 4 ( 16 ), 1895 in St. Petersburg.

He was married to Maria Dmitrievna Kazina. Their children:
