Archea-Nemea [3] ( Greek Αρχαία Νεμέα [2] ) is a village in Greece . It is located at an altitude of 336 meters above sea level [1] , in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula, 92 kilometers south-west of Athens , 25 kilometers south-west of Corinth and 44 kilometers north-east of Tripolis . Included in the community (dim) Nemeu in the peripheral unit of Corinth in the periphery of the Peloponnese . The population of 633 is 2011 census. [2] Residents are mainly engaged in the cultivation of Agiorgitiko grapes.

Located on the site of the ancient city of Nemea . Until May 8, 1958, it was called Kutsomoi ( Κουτσομόδι ) or Heraklion ( Ηράκλειον ) [4] .
To the south of the village runs the national road 66 Nemea - Levidion . To the south and west of the village there is a highway 7 Kalamata - Corinth.

The local community of Archean Nemeus includes three localities. The population of 559 residents according to the 2011 census [2] . The area of 32,213 square kilometers [1] .
