Ivan Zubkov Street is a street in Kirovsky district in the south-west of St. Petersburg .
07/08/2014 The Toponymic Commission of St. Petersburg supported the assignment of the name Ivan Zubkov Street to an anonymous G-shaped passage in Avtov.
It passes from Kronstadt Street to the Road to the Turukhtannye Islands . Located near the metro station "Avtovo".

The remaining small area to Portovaya Street, the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, St. Petersburg considered it a courtyard passage.
Origin of title
The street is named in honor of I. G. Zubkov .
IG Zubkov in 1941 was the head of the metro construction in Leningrad , the head of the Directorate for the military construction works of the Leningrad Front; in the winter of 1942, under the leadership of Zubkov, a railway ice crossing over Lake Ladoga (the “ Road of Life ”) was erected.
Earlier, the name Bolotniy lane was considered, since in the first half of the 20th century there was a lane with that name nearby.
