The “Elk” block (also “Exit”, “Exodus”, Armenian “Ելք” դաշինք , “Elkʿ” dashinkʿ) is a liberal political party alliance in Armenia. It was formed on December 12, 2016 by the parties “ Civil Agreement ”, “ Bright Armenia ” [1] (or “Enlightened Armenia” [2] ) and “ Republic ”.

According to the results of the 2017 parliamentary elections, he received 9 seats in parliament and takes a strictly oppositional position towards the ruling coalition led by the Republican Party of Armenia .
Representatives of the Civil Agreement party, which is part of the bloc, led the protests of the population that began in April 2018 and led to a change of power in the country. After the change of power, the representatives of the union received the largest number of ministerial portfolios in the Armenian government .

On April 2, 2017, the alliance took part in the 2017 parliamentary elections led by Edmond Marukyan and won 9 out of 105 seats in the National Assembly.

2017 Yerevan Mayor Election
After the parliamentary elections, the bloc participated in the elections to the Yerevan City Council in 2017. The candidate of the alliance for mayor of Yerevan was Nikol Pashinyan [3] . The alliance won 14 out of 65 seats in the Yerevan City Council, and Nikol Pashinyan refused his mandate in the city council and continued his work in the National Assembly as a deputy [4] [5] .
