Biography
Burangulov Mazhit Fazlyevich was born in 1904 in the village of Ilyaskino of the Buzuluk district of the Samara province (now the village of Verkhneilyasovo of the Krasnogvardeisky district of the Orenburg region ).
In 1927 he graduated from the Orenburg Bashkir Pedagogical College .
In 1927-1930 he worked as a teacher in rural schools of the Makarovsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1930-1934 he was an employee of the newspaper "Kyzyl Bashkortostan" ( Ufa ).
In 1934-1938 in Leningrad he studied at the courses of editors-translators. Since 1938, he has been working in the editorial office of the newspaper “Kyzyl Bashkortostan” again.
He was a connoisseur and performer of Bashkir folk songs , many of which were songs (" Ashkadar ", " Biish ", " Zulkhiza ", " Kului-canton ", " Syngrau torn ", " Yalan Yarkey " and others), as well as a number of "Zimogorsk" songs were recorded from Mazhit Fazlyevich and included in the collection "Bashkir folk songs and tunes" [1] .
He played kurai , violin , mandolin , piano [2] .
Mazhit Burangulov was one of the editors-compilers of the first Russian-Bashkir dictionary, which was published in Moscow in 1948.
On November 22, 1941, the journalist-translator of the newspaper “Kyzyl Bashkortostan” b / p Mazit Burangulov was arrested. He was not convicted. Date of rehabilitation: March 27, 1942 (database "Victims of Political Terror in the USSR"; Book of Remembrance of the Republic of Bashkortost).

Died of his wounds on March 7, 1943 near the village of Otter (Otter) of the Belsky District of the Smolensk Region of the RSFSR [3] .
