Sports career
Sven Torgren was born on October 4, 1994 in Sollentuna, Sweden, in the family of Magnus and Margareta Thorgren.
Since 2008, Sven Torgren has participated in the TTR World Snowboard Tour competition. In 2010, he received the FIS license and on October 30, 2010, he held his first race at the World Cup stage in London , becoming the 16th in Big Air.
In 2011, Sven Torgren took part in the Snowboard World Championships in La Molina. In the slopestyle competition took the 38th place. Two years later, at the World Championships in Stoneham, Sven Thorgren became the 18th in slopestyle.
March 16, 2013 Thorgren became the 3rd in slopestyle at the World Cup stage in Špindlerруv Mlyn .
In 2014, Sven Torgren took part in slopestyle competitions at the Olympics in Sochi . With a score of 94.25 points, Thorgren qualified for the final. In the final, Sven Thorgren scored 87.50 points in the second attempt and took 4th place.
In 2015, at the World Extreme Games in Aspen, became the 3rd slopestyle. For Sweden, this award in snowboarding was the first in the history of games [1] .
In 2017, Sven Torgren was 6th in Big Air at the Snowboard World Championships in the Spanish Sierra Nevada and won gold in slopestyle at the World Extreme Games in Norway's Hafiele.
