Club career

Alfaro is a pupil of the Carmelita club. On March 5, 2017, in his match against Deportivo Saprissa , he made his debut in the Costa Rica Championship ^[1] .

International Career

In 2017, Alfaro, as part of the Costa Rican youth team, took part in the CONCACAF Youth Championship in Panama . At the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Canada ^[2] , Suriname ^[3] , Panama ^[4] and Mexico ^[5] . In fights against Canadians and Panamanians, Jose scored a goal.

In the same year, Alfaro took part in the junior world championship in India . At the tournament, he played in matches against the national teams of Germany ^[6] , Guinea ^[7] and Iran ^[8] .
