Some of these artifacts are objects of decor, others contain magical powers that can bless or curse the character.

To better prepare for the trip, a sim can buy equipment and goods in the local market, for example: a machete for clearing thickets or a spray from insects ^[2] . There, communicating with local residents, the sim can study the culture of Selvadorada, including learning the local greeting, new songs for the guitar and special dance movements. The set also adds a new skill - archeology, which allows characters to explore different artifacts and establish their value. In addition to this, a new life form appears in the set - skeletons. It can be either NPCs that a sim can meet when studying a temple, summon with an artifact or the temporary state of the most controlled character that he receives as a result of the curse. Skeletons do not need hygiene, food and a toilet, and unique actions are also available to them. The set adds many new Mexican-style clothing and a collection of furniture for the living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen in the Spanish colonial and Mexican style.

Alejandro Castillo, a critic at Meristation, left more discreet feedback on the kit. It took the critic about five hours of real time to go through all possible quests and the jungle and explore the ruins.
