Vorobievka is a small river in the Northern administrative district of Moscow , the left tributary of the Khimki river in the Khimki forest park [1] . The exact origin of the name has not been established, it may be called the Sparrow in contrast to another larger tributary Khimki - Grachevka [2] .

The length of the river together with the bay of the Khimki reservoir is 1.1 km, of which the length of the bay is 0.7 km [3] . The source of Sparrow is located at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the railway. The watercourse passes the Khimki forest park and crosses the Left Bank Street , after which it flows into Khimka [4] .
