Biography

Born July 25, 1937.

Military education: graduated from the Irkutsk Aviation Technical School (1957), the Military-Political Academy (1968) and the Military Academy of the Soviet Army.

In the years 1957-1963. served in a fighter aviation regiment.

Since 1968 - in the system of the Main Directorate of the General Staff (military intelligence) and in the apparatus of the Central Committee of the CPSU. From 1986 to 1992 - Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff - Head of the Political Department. Lieutenant General.

He died on January 30, 2018 after a serious and prolonged illness.
