Geography
The village is located 18 km south-west of the district center - Ismayilli.
Population
The population of Kurdmashi is 3213 people. According to the "Caucasian calendar" for 1856, Sunni Tatars (Azerbaijanis) lived in the village of Kurtmashi with a spoken Azerbaijani language, according to the Tatar source [2] .
