Born in the village of Aleksandrovo (now - Kinelsky district of the Samara region).

Member of the Soviet atomic program. Since 1947 he worked at the KB-11 facility: foreman at the first production, senior foreman, head of the experimental workshop.

Laureate of the Stalin Prize. Honored Rationalizer of the RSFSR (05/04/1963). He was awarded the Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner of Labor (twice), and the Badge of Honor.

Honorary Citizen of Arzamas-16 (Decision of the Executive Committee of the City Council of People's Deputies of October 1, 1979).
