Bocharova, Svetlana Petrovna

Svetlana Petrovna Bocharova was born on March 16, 1928 in Kharkov in an intelligent family, her father is the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at KhADI and KhIIT , and her mother is an English teacher ^[2] . She was the second child in the family, the first was brother Yuri . From 1941 to 1944 she was evacuated to Uzbekistan , where in 1944 she graduated from high school in Tashkent ^[2] .

In 1949 she graduated from Kharkov University. M. Gorky (Faculty of Philology) ^[1] . From 1949 to 1950 she taught at the 6th secondary school of Kharkov.

In 1953 she graduated from the graduate school of Kharkiv State Pedagogical Institute. G. Pans (Department of Psychology) ^[1] . Her teachers were: P. I. Zinchenko , V. I. Asnin , K. E. Khomenko , O. M. Kontseva ^[2] .

In 1954 she defended her thesis on the topic “Studying the typological characteristics of schoolchildren in the context of academic work and during the game” ^[2] . From 1954 to 1963 she taught at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Dnipropetrovsk State University ^[2] . From 1963 to 1974 she worked as an assistant professor at KSU. Gorky at the Department of Psychology ^[2] .

From 1976 to 1979, she headed the department of psychology at the KSPI ^[1] . In 1977, at Leningrad State University, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Memory as a process of information processing” ^[2] . In 1979 she received the academic title of professor ^[2] . From 1979 to 1982 she worked as the head of the Department of Psychology at KSU named after M. Gorky ^[2] .

For twenty years (from 1963 to 1982) took part in the four International Psychological Congresses ^[2] . In 1984, she organized a symposium "Mnemonic processes" at the VI Congress of Psychologists of the USSR ^[1] . From 1983 to 1989 she worked as a professor at the Department of Psychology at the Kharkov Pedagogical Institute. G. Pans ^[2] . In 1989, she worked at the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy ^[1] . From 1989 to 2012 she worked as the head of the Department of Psychology of the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy ^[2] . Scientists of the Department of Psychology conducted state budget research on the topic "Formation of the psychological culture of students of engineering and pedagogical specialties" ^[3] . From 1995 to 2005, she worked at the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs as a leading researcher in the laboratory of social and psychological work ^[2] .

Died September 5, 2012 in Kharkov.

• Brother - Yuriy Petrovich Bocharov (born May 4, 1926) - Soviet and Russian architect, historian and theorist of urban planning, doctor of architecture, professor, full member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, Russian Academy of Art Criticism, Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture of the East.

During 1975-2008, she prepared forty candidates of psychological sciences and five doctors of psychological sciences ^[2] . Among the students: Natalya Sergeevna Kurchenko ^[4] , Julia Alexandrovna Belotserkovskaya ^[5] , Yuri Ivanovich Blinov ^[6] .

Often, the experience gained is associated with problematic and even critical moments, and therefore it is very important that more optimistic energy-filling events are woven into his canvas, in which there are true inspirers, ascetics, and experts in their field - real PERSONALITIES. For numerous students and students, Professor Svetlana Petrovna Bocharova played such a decisive role in life formation. As a PERSONAL guidance and role model in many ways, Svetlana Petrovna was, is and remains not only a scientific inspirer, but also a wise adviser to her followers and colleagues. For me personally, there is no doubt, since only such a TEACHER can be a significant guiding star in life, a true SCIENTIFIC MENTOR and I was lucky in this. It is to such personalities as Professor S. Bocharova that the well-known Ukrainian psychologist I.D.Bekh defines the definition that such people are real “psycho beacons” that indicate the right path to self-determination, which are capable of and are internally projected to act synergistically, support emotionally, energetically fill, and therefore, provide all opportunities to be revealed in a life-creating perspective ^[8]

At the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs, a scientific-practical conference “Bocharovsky readings” was created. The conference (except for the first two) takes place every two years:
