Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the Saratov region, in the steppe zone , within the Syrt Plain , on the left bank of the Turmak River, at a distance of about 25 kilometers (in a straight line) south of the urban-type village of Dergachi , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 51 meters above sea level [2] .

According to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census, men accounted for 48.9% of the gender structure of the population and 51.1% of women, respectively.
