To him was sent to the aid of the detachment of the KR " Dmitry Donskoy ", МКL " Brave ", TR "Kamchadal" and l / c "Reliable". The arriving detachment took off the passengers, the crew and the most valuable ship inventory, but failed to pull the damaged ship. In the Kamchadal watch log dated July 24, 1897, it was noted that: "... Vladimir was standing on stones at 1/3 mile to NO from Cape Gamow ... a boat arrived, from which it was reported that the engine room of the ship was flooded with water ..." [2] .

In 1901-1904, Kamchadal, commanded by Captain 2nd Rank A. A. Ryumin , from 1903 Captain 2nd Rank V.S. Yegorov, since 1904, Lieutenant V.K. Kilyashchenko was in the department of transport of Vladivostok detachment of the port of captain 1st rank N. A. Gaupt (“ Aleut ” - from 1904 the flag of the commander of the detachment of captain 2nd rank N. K. Tunderman , “Kamchadal”, “ Tungus ” (until 1904 the captain of the 2nd rank N. K. During the Russo-Japanese War, he was in the department of transports of the First Pacific Squadron , which was organizationally included in the Vladivostok detachment of cruisers and was based on Vladivostok . Transports delivered a variety of cargo to the posts and to the detachments of ships in the campaigns. On May 14, 1904, the captain of the 2nd rank, A. A. Ginter, was appointed to head the department of transports. In 1904, Kamchadal, commanded by Lieutenant Kilyaschenko, Tungus, Mongugai, Yakut, Okhotsk (commander, warrant officer for the Admiralty Elishkevich), the Neronov steamer provided the Amur detachment of miner shells and produced hydrographic work. July 29 " Lena " ( Breyd-pennant ), "Kamchadal", "Tungus" and "Yakut" went from Vladivostok to the Sea of Okhotsk to search for and destroy Japanese fishing industries off the coast of Kamchatka . The detachment also delivered cargo to the Korsakov post , the port of Petropavlovsk and Nikolaevsk . The detachment returned to Vladivostok on September 3 [5] .

By 1907, in the event of the outbreak of hostilities, a plan was developed to mine the gulf of Peter the Great and the Amur estuary . According to this plan, Kamchadal, Aleut, Yakut, Shilka and Transport No. 5 were to be converted into minelayers. In April 1910, the naval minister, Vice-Admiral S. A. Voevodsky, canceled the re-equipment of Kamchadal and Yakuta and left them at hydrographic service [6] .

Until 1915, Kamchadal served the coastal beacons of the Eastern Ocean of the Main Hydrographic Department [7] .

In 1917, Kamchadal, like Shilka, Magnit, and Defender, were transferred to the season under the control of the Voluntary Fleet , but also continued to serve the coastal beacons during their flights [8] .

At the beginning of March 1919, Kamchadal was located in Vladivostok.

In the winter of 1925–1926, the Kamchadal was redeemed in Vladivostok by the Dalkrai Executive Committee to organize navigation in Kamchatka. The transport was managed by a marine trust and was based in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky , but was idle more than it was sailing. At the end of 1927 the ship was sold, and the project of the Kamchatka cabotage was closed for years [9] .
