Biography
The pupil of the Kharkov hockey, played for the Kharkov "Dynamo" and Kiev "Falcon". He went abroad in 1992, until 1996 he played for different US teams in the East Coast Hockey League. He played for four years for the team “Houston Eros”, was going to go to the “ Milwaukee Edmirals ”, but at the last moment the deal fell through [1] . In "Houston" he performed with Yegor Bashkatov in the same team, and also met his former teammate in Dynamo Kharkiv Oleg Shargorodsky. Scored 52 points in 81 matches of “Houston” in the season of the ILL 1995/1996.
In 1996 he moved to Eissport Wiener [1] , in which he became the silver medalist of the Austrian championship 1998/1999. After the club was disbanded, he played in Sweden for Feriestad, and then moved to the German Championship, where he played for Schwenninger Wild Wings, Frankfurt Lyons, Krefeld Penguin and Wolf Freiburg. He completed his career in 2008 at the Wheeling Nailers club.
Vadim also played inline hockey : he played in the first professional hockey league Roller Hockey International for the clubs "Portland Rage" and "Sacramento River Rats".
He played for the national team of Ukraine at the world championships of 1999 and 2001, as well as at the 2002 Olympics. After completing his playing career, he went into business in the United States: the founder of All Year Sports Galaxy, selling portable synthetic rollers [2] [3] .
