Biography
Born in 1879. He studied and graduated from the folk school in Dresden, while receiving the profession of engraver . He became a librarian by chance - he worked and published in newspapers. I decided to create a free library and in 1906 it opened its doors in Plauen , where he headed it until 1913. In 1913 he was appointed to the post of director of the city library in Leipzig , this position he held until his death.
He died in 1952.
