Biography
Born in 1908 in the village of Second Alibeyli of the Zangezur district of the Elizabethpol province (now the village of Alabayli of the Zangelan region of Azerbaijan / the village of Yeritsvank of the Kashatag region of the unrecognized NKR).
Member of the Great Patriotic War. He participated in battles from March 1944 in the ranks of 796 rifle regiment of 141 rifle divisions and 755 rifle regiment of 217 rifle divisions. During the fighting in the area of the village of Makowitsa near Warsaw, he killed 3 Nazis in hand-to-hand combat and, being wounded, led a platoon until he repelled the enemy’s attacks. He rose to the rank of lieutenant.
Since 1932, the chief accountant of the Chkalov collective farm of the Zangelan region, the head of the Zangelan district department of agriculture, in various positions in the Zangelan district committee of the party and the executive committee of the Zangelan district council of workers' deputies. In 1947, it ensured overfulfillment of 82.6 percent of the total cotton harvest in the district as a whole.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 10, 1948 , Aliyev Ali Ali oglu / kyz was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1932 .
He died on August 25, 1975 in the city of Zangelan.
