Biography
Born in 1916 in Arkhangelsk in the family of a carpenter Heinrich Stobbe. He was the youngest of five children in the family. Father died in 1918 from the "Spaniard". He entered the naval school, but soon moved to the theater. In 1935 he graduated from the Arkhangelsk Theater School. Since 1933 he was an actor of the Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater . In 1938-1941 he worked in the Stalingrad Youth Theater .
He participated in the Great Patriotic War, went through the whole war.
He worked in the Youth Theater of Saratov, Rostov, Kazan. In 1949-1961 he played in the Kirov Drama Theater .
In 1961-1984 he performed at the Nizhny Tagil Drama Theater . He played more than 100 leading roles in plays by Soviet, Russian and Western European playwrights. He staged solo performances on a small stage, participated in reading contests in Moscow (Yesenin, Mayakovsky, poems about the war).
He taught at the music school. He was elected a deputy of the Nizhny Tagil City Council.
He died on October 4, 1984 in Nizhny Tagil. He was buried in the Central Cemetery [1] .
