Biography
Igor Stanislavovich Tomkevich was born on December 15, 1930 in Leningrad. During the Leningrad blockade he lost his parents, was brought up in an orphanage. In 1955 he graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M.Shepkin at the Maly Theater of the USSR. Stage activities began in Perm .
Since 1959, he was an actor at the Kirov Drama Theater . Played in the theater for thirty years. He taught at the Kirov College of Culture. He was chairman of the Kirov branch of the WTO.
He died on June 14, 1996 in the city of Kirov.
Family
- His wife - actress Margarita Dmitrievna Kachkina (1927-1994), Honored Artist of the RSFSR. She played in the Kirov Drama Theater, played about 150 roles [1] .

- Honored Artist of the RSFSR (03/06/1968).
- People's Artist of the RSFSR (01.01.1978).
- Diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, I degree for the role of Luke (“At the bottom” of M. Gorky) and Belokon (“Four kilometers from the war”).
