Novosady ( Polish. Nowosady ) is a village in the Heinow District of Podlaskie Voivodeship of Poland . Included in the Hajnówka commune . According to the 2011 census, 418 people lived in the village [1] .

Geography
The village is located in northeastern Poland, approximately 7 kilometers north of Hajnówka , the administrative center of Poviat. The absolute height is 169 meters above sea level [2] . Regional road 685 passes through Novosady.
History
At the end of the 18th century, the Novosad were part of the Bereste district of the Bereste province of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania [3] .
According to the “Index to the populated areas of the Grodno province, with the necessary information relating to them,” in 1905 566 people lived in the village of Novosady. Administratively, the village was part of the Macev parish of Pruzhany district (4th camp) [4] .
According to the census of 1921, 308 people lived in the village in 81 houses. In the national composition of the population, Belarusians (159 people) and Poles (146 people) prevailed. Most believers professed Orthodoxy [5] .
In the period from 1975 to 1998, the Novosad were part of the Belostok voivodship .
