Anatoly Zinovievich Kartaev (born April 12, 1947 , Chelyabinsk ) is a Soviet and Russian hockey player, coach. Master of Sports . Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan , Honorary Worker of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Biography
Pupil of the Chelyabinsk sports club "Sunrise" (coach S. Kh. Sayfutdinov). In "Tractor" he played in 1966-1978 as a striker.
Bronze medalist of the USSR Championship in 1977, finalist of the USSR Cup in 1973. The team played 16 seasons, scored 214 goals.
He was involved in the second national team of the USSR, for which he played more than 20 matches, scored 15 goals.
He coached the teams Metallurg (Chelyabinsk) (1984-87), Avtomobilist (Karaganda) (1989-1991), Tractor (Chelyabinsk), worked in China and Yugoslavia. He was the head coach of the Kazakhmys hockey club ( Satpayev , Kazakhstan ) (October 2003-1 December 2007). In 2007 he worked as the head coach of the national team of Kazakhstan . [one]
Together with Kazakhmys, he became the champion of Kazakhstan in the 2005/06 season.
From 1996 to 2002, he headed the Chelyabinsk Region Hockey Federation. Currently works as a trainer in Kopeisk .
He was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the centenary of the birth of V. I. Lenin. "
In 1969 he graduated from the Physical Culture Department of the Chelyabinsk Pedagogical Institute , in 1982 - the Higher School of Hockey Trainers.
Married. Two sons: Dmitry (grandson, hockey player Vladislav ) and Pavel (leading Mayak radio).
