Susan Ada Korrok Labi ( Eng. Susan Ada Corrock Luby ; born November 30, 1951 , Seattle ) - American skier , specialist in slalom , giant slalom and downhill . She played for the United States national alpine skiing team in 1970–1973, the bronze medalist of the Winter Olympic Games in Sapporo .

Biography
Susan Korrok was born on November 30, 1951 in Seattle , Washington , USA . She underwent training in the sports club of the Sun Valley ski resort, at first she was successful primarily in technical disciplines such as slalom and giant slalom, but then she also mastered downhill, in which she achieved quite good results.
First declared itself in 1970, winning the US junior championship in slalom and giant slalom, later became the champion in giant slalom and among adult athletes. At the same time, she entered the main team of the American national team and made her debut in the World Cup, in particular at the stages in the Austrian Badgastein and Canadian Vancouver, ranked among the ten strongest in the standings of slalom.
In 1971, she was in the top ten in six World Cup stages.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, she won the right to defend the honor of the country at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo - in slalom, the sum of two attempts showed the ninth result, while in the downhill race she became the third and won the bronze Olympic medal, passing only Marie-Terez from Switzerland ahead. Nadig and Austrian Annemarie Moser-Pröll . It was the first and only time when she managed to climb the podium of international competitions.
After the Olympiad, Korrok remained for some time as a member of the main US ski team and continued to take part in major international competitions. So, in 1973 she was in the top ten in three stages of the World Cup, in the program of slalom and downhill. In 1975, she decided to complete the career of a professional athlete.
Subsequently, she was engaged in real estate in Vale , in the 1980s with her family she moved permanently to Spokane . Married to Bob Labi, there are two children [1] .
