Usage
In the written language of the Marvari language based on the Arabic alphabet, the letter is used to denote the sound [ ɭ ] [3] . Also in this variant of the Marvari script, the digraph ݪ ھ (ݪه [1] ) is used to denote the sound [ ɭ ʰ ] [3] .
In Kalami, the letter is used to indicate the sound [ ɬ̪ ] [2] .
Like the letters lam , in combination with aliph forms a ligature : ݪا.
