Kalavrita ( Greek Δήμος Καλαβρύτων [2] ) is a community (dim) in Greece in the northern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. Included in the peripheral unit of Achaea in the periphery of Western Greece . The population of 11,045 inhabitants according to the 2011 census [2] . The area of 1058.147 square kilometers [1] . The density of 10.44 people per square kilometer [2] . The administrative center is Kalavrita [2] . Eioros Lazuras ( Γεώργιος Λαζουράς ) was elected Dimarch in the local elections of 2014.

In 2011, under the Kallikratis program , the abolished communities of Aroania, Clitoria and Paos were added to the Kalavrite community [3] .
Coincides with the diocese of Kalavrita administrative division of 1833.
