February 29, 2016 CBS extended the series immediately for the 14th and 15th seasons [2] . The fifteenth season started on September 26, 2017 . Last season, Jennifer Esposito (the role of Alexander Quinn) was announced [3] , her place will be taken by Maria Bello as a special agent and practicing psychologist Jacqueline “Jackie” Sloan in the middle of the season. Torres ( Wilmer Eduardo Valderrama ) claims in the first episode of the season that Quinn is now on vacation taking care of her mother, this coincides with a story arc that her character has maintained for some time. A specific turning point between the characters of Quinn & Sloan occurs at the end 4 episodes of the season when the premiere of the character Bello. At the end of the current season (at the end of episode 22), Paul Perrett (the role of Abby Shuto) will leave the project. [four]
