History
The Energy Football Team (Tchaikovsky) is a four-time champion of the Perm Region and a two-time Cup winner. Until 1991, the team represented Votkinskgesstroy. In 1991, Permtransgaz LLC became the owner of the club. [one]
In 1992, Energia made its debut in the professional football league in Russia, where it eventually spent 11 seasons. In the period 1997 - 1998, the club achieved the highest results in the championship (4th place in the Second League ) and the cup (1/32 finals). At the end of the 2002 season, the club took the penultimate place and was disbanded due to the refusal of the general sponsor to maintain the team.
On February 16, 2004, the Olimpia Children's and Youth Football Club (DUFC) was registered, which claimed to participate in the Perm Region Championship. [1] On February 21, 2006, at the initiative of the city authorities, the two teams of Tchaikovsky — Olimpia and Uralorgsintez — merged. The united club received the historical name "Energy". [2]
At present, the club is playing in the Higher Group of the Perm Krai Football Championship.
