Club career
In 2008, Lagos began his career at the Turrialba Club. In early 2010, he moved to Brujas , which made his debut in the Costa Rica championship . In early 2011, Christian on a leasehold moved to Alajuelens . On February 6, in his match against Lemon , he made his debut for a new team [2] . On July 31, in a duel against Perez-Celedon , Lagos scored his first goal for Alahuelens [3] . In the same year, he helped the club win the championship. After Brujas ceased to exist, Lagos signed a contract with Santos de Guapiles . On January 15, 2012, in his match against Herediano, he made his debut for a new team [4] . In the same match, Christian scored his first goal for Santos de Guapiles. On November 25, in a match against Carmelita , he made a hat-trick [5] . In the same year, Lagos became the top scorer of the championship.
In early 2013, Christian moved to Deportivo Saprissa . On February 3, in his match against Uruguay de Coronado , he made his debut for a new team [6] . On February 10, in a duel against Puntarenas , Lagos scored his first goal for Deportivo Saprissa [7] . In the same season, he helped the team win the Costa Rica Cup.
In the summer of that year, Lagos returned on loan to Santos de Guapiles. In early 2014, Christian was leased to the Indian Churchill Brothers . On February 11, in his match against Ranged United , he made his debut in the I-League [8] . On March 11, in an AFC Cup duel against the Maldivian New Radiant , Christian made a double, scoring his first goals for Churchill Brothers [9] . In the summer, he returned to Santos de Guapiles for the third time. In early 2015, Lagos signed a contract with Herediano . On February 8, in a match against his former club Alajuelens, he made his debut for a new team [10] . On February 15, in a fight against his former club Deportivo Saprissa, Christian scored his first goal for Herediano [11] . In the CONCACAF Champions League matches against Honduran Olympia , he scored two goals [12] [13] .
In early 2016, Lagos on a rental basis moved to the Guatemalan Shelahu . January 17, in a match against Antigua-Guatemala , he made his debut in the championship of Guatemala [14] . In the same match, Christian scored his first goal for Shelakha. He spent the second half of the season on loan at Santos de Guapiles, and upon completion, he signed a full-fledged contract.
International Career
On November 15, 2012, in a friendly match against the Bolivian national team, Lagos made his debut for the Costa Rica national team [15] . In 2013, Christian won the home of the Central American Cup . At the tournament, he played in a match against Nicaragua , in the same match Lagos scored his first goal for the national team [16] .
