Aleksandar “Sanya” Ilic ( Serb. Aleksandar Sanja Ilić / Aleksandar Saскийa Iћ ; born March 27, 1951 , Belgrade , FNRY ) was a Serbian pop composer and keyboardist . The son of the composer Miodrag Ilich . The great-grandson of geologist Jovan Zujovic .

Biography
He began to compose music as a teenager; The song, written by a 12-year-old Sanya Ilic on lyrics by Dusko Radovic , a regular co-author of his father, was performed by a popular singer for children Dragan Lakovich . At 16 years old he composed the song “Bai, Bai, Bai”, which was later performed by Biser Beletanlich at the Eurovision 1976 national selection from Yugoslavia , eventually taking third place. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade .
In 1982, Ilic's song “Halo, Halo” won the Yugoslav national selection, and the specially created female vocal trio “ Asuka ” performed this song at Eurovision-1982 , taking the 14th place.
In the 80s he collaborated with keyboard player Slobodan Markovich in the framework of the instrumental electronic project Sanja & Sloba , which released only one album.
In 1998, Ilic founded the Balkanika group, in 2018 she will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song Nova Detsa .
