History
The international competition of choreographers was created in 2015 in the Lviv National Theater of Opera and Ballet. S. Krushelnitskoy. [1] (inaccessible link from 05-05-2018 [453 days]) The idea of creating an extraordinary project was born in the ballet troupe of the theater troupe in response to the lack of modern ballets in the repertoire. Artists Yulia Yermolenko and Nikolai Sanzharevsky initiated the project with the active support of the artistic director of the theater Vasily Vovkun.
Structure
Promovideo 2018 on YouTube The contest is a platform where novice choreographers can try to realize their strength in contact with professional ballet dancers. It consists of a qualifying video of the tour and the final, which is preceded by a two-month preparation. Each year, the organizing committee selects a new thematic task for suppliers. Prizes
The main prize is awarded to the Grand Prix winner of the competition is the right to ballet on the stage of the Lviv Opera House.
