Biography
Born on April 27, 1946 in Moscow.
After graduating from a technical school, in 1963 he began his career as a fitter for the repair of equipment at the Geopribotsvetmet pilot plant. In 1965 he entered the Faculty of Finance and Economics of the Moscow Finance Institute (IFI, now Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation ), in 1969 he graduated. While studying at the university, he conducted public work, was a member of the party bureau of the faculty, a member of the national control group, and was involved in the organization of student construction teams.
In 1969-1971, Shokhin served in the ranks of the Soviet army. In 1971 he returned to the IFI; studied in graduate school, worked at the Department of Finance of the sectors of the national economy as an assistant, senior lecturer, assistant professor, professor. In 1975 he defended his thesis.
From 1976 to 1980, he served as vice-rector for evening education. In 1988-1990, in the direction of the State Education of the USSR, Evgeny Ivanovich worked as a teacher in Cuba at the University of Havana . In 1991, E.I. Shokhin headed the Department of Finance of Enterprises of the National Economy and Investment Financing (Corporate Finance), Moscow Financial Institute (now Financial University). [2]
Along with the Financial University, since 1992 he was the deputy director, and since 2000 - the general director of the International Moscow Finance and Banking School.
In 2000, by the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Shokhin was awarded the academic title of professor. Supervised by graduate students, the author of more than 300 scientific and educational works (monographs, textbooks and teaching aids).

He is a member of the Academic Council of the University of Finance and the Academic Council of the University of Finance and Economics. Also a member of the Scientific and Methodological Council, a member of the Council of UMO and the Council for the Master of the University.
