Biography
Born on August 27, 1955 in the village of Kuznetsovo-Mikhaylovka, Telmanovsky district, Donetsk region . He graduated from the Perm Higher Military Command Engineering School in 1977 and the command faculty of the Military Academy. F.E. Dzerzhinsky in 1988 [1] .
In the rocket troops he served in the following positions: chief of a refueling station, commander of a launch battery, commander of a preparation and launch group, chief of staff of a missile battalion, commander of a missile battalion, chief of a regimental staff, commander of a missile regiment, chief of a division headquarters. In March 1999, in the rank of colonel, he was appointed commander of the 62nd rocket division (stationed in the city of Uzhur ).
In March 2003, in the rank of Major General, he was appointed head of the Rostov Military Institute of Rocket Forces [2] . He headed it until 2010 [3] .
Family
Wife - Galina Leonidovna, a senior lieutenant in retirement. Daughter - Inna (in marriage Ananenkova), a major , has a son and daughter [4] .
Awards
He was awarded the Order for Military Merit , six medals and badges of distinction of the Ministry of Defense of Russia "Chief Marshal of Artillery Nedelin" and "For service in the Strategic Missile Forces" [1] .
