Rosa Samigullovna Akhmetova (born February 13, 1924, village of Gabbasovo, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - January 16, 2009 , Ufa ) is a process engineer. Candidate of Technical Sciences (1967). Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, holder of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor [1] .

Biography
Rosa Akhmetova was born on February 13, 1924 in the village of Gabbasovo, Zilair canton of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1949 she graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute . By profession, a process engineer. Received the degree of candidate of technical sciences in 1967.
In 1949-1986 she worked at the Bashkir Research Institute of Oil Refining. 1978-1986 she headed the department of the Bashkir Research Institute for Oil Refining [2] .
It rendered practical assistance to oil refineries in the industry and to consumers of bitumen in the creation of its production. She participated in the establishment of bitumen production in Bulgaria, India, Cuba, etc. Under her leadership, comprehensive studies of the physico-chemical properties of bitumen, oils and residual products of their processing as raw materials for bitumen production were carried out; binding of bitumen production technology to the quality of raw materials; developed and issued recommendations for the design of new and reconstruction of existing bitumen plants, recommendations for the production of bitumen of improved quality; GOSTs and specifications for bitumen for various purposes have been developed and implemented.
Author of about 90 publications, 7 scientific inventions. [3]
She died on January 16, 2009 in Ufa.
Family
Husband Akhmetov Farit Galeevich (b. 1926) - an industrial engineer, was a deputy director of the refinery (OAO Ufaneftekhim); Secretary of the Ufa Civil Code of the CPSU for Industry, Cavalier of the Orders of the Red Banner of Labor (1971), "Badge of Honor" (1976) [4] .
